Titanium Grade 9 Tubing
Tubewell ’s Titanium Grade 9 tube is a titanium grade characterized by marvelous corrosion resistance to seawater and higher mechanical properties compared to stainless steels.
Ti 3-2.5 tubing can be bent at room temperature using standard bend techniques. It is routinely bent on a radius of three times the actual tube diameter. Moreover, thin walled tubing requires adequate support of the ID during bending. Because of the high strength and low modulus of this alloy, springbuck is about twice that of stainless steel.
The Ti-3-2.5 alloy is characterized by-
