Titanium Grade 1 Tube is suitable for environments and applications where the properties of stainless steels are not sufficient. Typical applications include tubing for the aerospace industry and heat-exchangers.
Tubewell ’s ASTM B338 Titanium Grade 1 tubing is available in size range outside diameter OD 9.53–38.1 mm (3/8–1½ in.) with wall thicknesses from 0.7 mm to 5 mm i.e. 0.0275 in to 0.1968 in. The titanium Gr.1 tubes are delivered in straight lengths or as U-bent tubes.
It comes with the Proof strength Rp0.2 MPa min 138-310, Tensile strength
Rm MPa min 240 and Elongation A % min 24.
